Sweet Potato Bisque

Sweet potato bisque

Today I’m excited to share with you a souper delicious recipe. (Souper, do you get it? Ha! I’m so funny!)

You know what I love about this soup? It’s so souper easy. (There I go again! I’m on a roll!) One night while making a different dinner, I can throw some sweet potatoes in the oven, then the next day, throw it all in the Blendtec for hot, delicious soup in just a few minutes. It’s so easy, I made you a quick video to show you how, enjoy!

(Yes, my videos are still pretty amateur and ghetto. Working on it!)

There are a couple of things I want you to notice. First, yes, my kitchen is not fancy. At all. You don’t have to have a fancy kitchen to cook delicious, healthy food! Second, yes, I didn’t edit this at all and there is about a minute of just watching a blender blend. I wanted to show you how fast this is in real time. If you like you can just skip past that part. But how awesome is it that in 7 minutes flat you can have a homemade soup? Pretty crazy awesome if you ask me!

(The link for the broth I mention in the video is right here, give it a try! It’s so much better for you than the store bought brands.)

This recipe is right from the Blendtec website, you can find it right here.

    1. Hi Roberta! Right now it’s all through Facebook, but by the end of this month it will all be run through this site. I’ll hang on to your email address and let you know as soon as that’s available!

    1. Thank you! You can use any whole grain pasta, just be sure to check ingredient lists for weird ingredients. Out of all the whole grain pastas, I like brown rice pasta the best.
